January 2016

In January, 2016, a Skype meeting was held between Eastwood Public School and the Experimental Kindergarten Affiliated to Southwest University China. Participants of the Skype meeting included Eastwood Public School principal and teachers, Dr. Shijing Xu (SSHRC Project Director) & Dr. Zuochen Zhang (SSHRC Project Co- Applicant) from the University of Windsor, and research assistant Mr. David Potocek. Members from both schools had fun sharing cultural activities with each other.

2016年1月,加拿大姊妹校Eastwood小学与西南大学实验幼儿园召开了视频交流会。温莎Eastwood 小学校长、温莎大学教育学院许世静教授(中加互惠学习合作项目负责人)、张佐臣教授、Eastwood 小学幼儿园部教师和项目研究助理David Potocek出席了此次视频会议。Eastwood 校长和与会人员与西南大学实验幼儿园园长,副园长和实验幼儿园教师们交流了心得。双方也分享了文化活动。

In November, 2015, Eastwood Public School Principal participated in a Sister School Skype with Ms. Na Wu (guide teacher of 2015 SWU cohort), Ms. Ju Huang (PhD student from University of Windsor), research assistant Mr. David Potocek and the 2015 Chinese teacher candidate cohort from Southwest University China. The topic of the meeting was inquiry-based learning

September 2015

In September 2015, Eastwood Public School principal participated in his first Skype meeting with principal and teachers from the Experimental Kindergarten Affiliated to Southwest University China. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Shijing Xu (SSHRC Project Director) and supported by Ms. Na Wu (guide teacher of 2015 SWU cohort), Dr. Ying Li (Research Assistant for the General Education and Culture Team at Southwest University), and research assistants from the University of Windsor and Southwest University.
