On Feb 19th, 2019, Dr. Shijing Xu, Dr. Yishin Khoo, Dr. Xiaochuan Li (UWindsor visiting scholar from Yunnan Normal University) and Yuhan Deng visited Bkejwanong School in Walpole Island First Nation to talk with the school principal and teachers about the plan of developing a three-way reciprocal learning partnership between Bkejwanong School, Centennial Central Public School and Primary School Affiliated to China Agricultural University. A teacher from Bkejwanong School expressed an interest in fostering Sister School partnerships in the area of literacy education.
